Narrativ Praksis is hosting 2012’s Narrative Conference in Copenhagen and are happy to welcome you all.
Narrativ Praksis is a Danish institute in Narrative praxis, education and therapy represented by Jannike Fogh, Helene Grau, Christian Kragh Pedersen, Rasmus Olsen and Maria Lykke. The group of five Danish psychologists originally met in Adelaide, Australia, while studying narrative ideas with Michael White, Maggie Carey and others. Narrativ Praksis have taken on the task of being the people in charge of this conference. Furthermore we are the creators of one the three tracks on the conference: Narratives of the Body.
DISPUK offers short term and long term training programs, workshops and seminars in narrative and poststructuralist therapy and also in narrative leadership and organizational work. DISPUK offers also a lot of supervision and therapy. There are ten full time employed consultants in DISPUK, four administrative staff members and six staff members in the three kitchens in the three houses. DISPUKs two main buildings are located North of Copenhagen, South of Elsinore in Snekkersten, directly to the sea, along the coastline. The third building is located in Aarhus. See www.dispuk.dk

Narrative Perspektiver is owned by Anne Saxtorph. She is a colorful and engaged teacher, psychologist, Specialist and Supervisor in psychotherapy, as well as Specialist in Organizational Psychology. She is certified with the International Narrative education from Adelaide by Michael White in 2006 and have visited Art Fisher and his men's group in Novo Scotia 2009. The association was founded in 1988 in Copenhagen and has basically aims to raise awareness of the systemic and narrative perspective into organizations and treatment institutions. The association works on a non-profit basis and has today 4-500 members. STOK has 9 networking groups anchored around the country where members meet and exchange experiences and methodological forms. In other words STOK for many years has helped to form the idea of a very respectful and rewarding approach of social work in Denmark. This, in both the public sector and in privately owned institutions, with people who need or are forced to be under various forms of social action. In addition, STOK is working together with private companies and organizations that work with the systemic and narrative ideas. Each year STOK organizes an annual meeting with keynote speakers from home and abroad as well as workshops, where practitioners from across the country has the opportunity to show their work and exchange experiences with colleagues.
